Delicious Soap

One day, I came upon a collection of travel-sized toiletries at home, including severals bars of soap from various hotels. The round ones in particular caught my eye and I couldn’t resist spending an afternoon having a little fun with them. I carved the soaps into little cakes, grated some into crumbs to create texture, dyed the crumbs with food coloring, and finished with “frosting” to make them look almost edible. I liked how something so plain and utilitarian could turn into something fun and aesthetic. Delicious Soap plays with that mix of silly and satisfying, showing how everyday things can become weirdly beautiful when you look at them differently.
