Raviol-Eye

Sometimes I don’t know where my process or day will take me. I love rummaging through the recycle bin, hall closet, junk drawer, and pantry for inspiration. I crafted these ravioli-inspired pieces out of flour and water. I sculpted each one by hand, baked them until hardened, painted them with acrylic paint, and finished them with a high gloss varnish to achieve a realistic look. They’re weird, a little creepy, and kind of funny all at once, which is exactly what I wanted.
